CHOCOLATE GOURAMI

Chocolate Gourami origin from Sumatra, Borneo, Malay Peninsula. They are found in shallow, still or slow flowing waters. The waters are overgrown with aquatic and floating plants and have a few open spaces. Chocolate gourami are very peaceful and delicate species, who do best if kept in a small group.

Both male and females look the same and with approximately size of 1.5"~2". The male has a yellow border along the edge of its fins.

This species requires very good quality of water.

When spawning, the female will hold the eggs in her mouth for 14 days. During this period she does not eat. Therefore, it must be in prime condition.
